Cosmetic properties: Softening, emollient, relieves itching and deep joint pain.

Therapeutic properties: Oats are a great nutrient full of minerals (rich in calcium). It is also a deep nerve tonic (calming). For skin care, note that we rather use oatmeal or colloidal oatmeal.

The importance of buying local! Medicinal plants grown in Quebec are more expensive, but the quality is exceptional. Our herbalists dry them whole (with some exceptions), according to the rules of the art. The plants are grown here and do not have to travel (polluting transport) from far away to your home. Plus, they are always freshly dried. Paying a little more to encourage our local producers is worth the investment!
