The sucrose stearate makes it possible to produce emulsions at cold or low temperatures, it is therefore ideal for emulsions containing oils sensitive to oxidation or hydrosols sensitive to heat. It is a very gentle emulsifier, which also has excellent softening power on the skin. The emulsions obtained will have rather fluid, light textures, with a fresh and non-greasy feel.

INCI: Sucrose stearate

Properties: Emulsions at cold or low temperature (40°C), it produces rather fluid emulsions: ideal for formulating light milks and creams. Helps superficial hydration.

Emulsion type: Oil in water
Dosage: 3% to 5%

*Soluble in water (poorly soluble in cold)
